to a  sinner? Jesus took your sins so that you are forgiven and free! Good news to a sick man is that Jesus took your sickness so that you don't have to have it anymore. if you believe this fact, then you are free. The  "Good news" to those who are broken-hearted is that Jesus wants to mend your heart. It does not matter what your background  is or what your religious affiliations may be (maybe you don't even have a religion), Jesus  wants to give you life - The abundant life.

"Good news" has different meaning to all of us at different times of our lives. For example, 'good news' to a hungry man is food , if the same man was sick, food is no longer the good news, 'good news' at this point is healing. Even though the need at the moment may change from food to health, even clothing e.t.c, the most important and desperate need of all  men (not gender specific) is salvation which Jesus came to give freely to all. This salvation comes packaged with all the afore-mentioned needs of man - food, clothes, housing and money.

Jesus Christ is the true GOOD NEWS because He came to meet all the needs of man. All other good news will fade and will only satisfy momentarily. Man (the human race) was on 'death row' spiritually, but Jesus Christ became our substitute and paid the price for sin for all people for all time. He epitomizes all that can be called good news by bringing salvation, healing, deliverance, protection, provision, sustenance and any other good thing that will be consistent with a godly life in God. The scripture said "he has come that we might have life and have it more abundantly" (John 10:10b) .

Do you know him today? if you don't know Him, I ask you to accept Jesus as your Lord and savior and receive the free gift of  salvation. Just say "Jesus, come into my heart, forgive me all my sin , be my lord and savior". You just got born-again, (if you said and meant that prayer)
